Electrochemical performance of cobalt oxide with different nanostructures
Nanostructured cobalt oxide has advantages such as high theoretical capacitance,high catalytic activity and good thermochemical stability.It has broad application prospects in fields such as batteries,supercapacitors and electrocatalysis.Nanomaterials with complementary structures and properties,such as nanocarbons,carbon nanotubes,graphene,metal oxides,etc.,can further enhance their electrochemical performance in terms of specific reversible capacity/capacitance,rate capability,cycling stability and catalytic activity.This article provides a comprehensive introduction to the structure and properties of cobalt oxide nanomaterials,as well as their applications in energy storage and electrocatalysis.The relationship between the structure and properties of cobalt oxide-based nanomaterials is summarized,laying a theoretical foundation for promoting the practical application of such materials in energy conversion and memory devices.Future research on the application of such materials in electrochemical energy is also discussed.
