Analysis of current situation of the training of academic master's degree students in statistics
With the rapid increase of data scale and data processing scenarios,academic research,as the cornerstone of statistics,cannot be ignored in the training of master's students.Through the questionnaire,the current situation of the curriculum setting,the current situation of scientific research atmosphere and the current situation of supervisor guidance of academic master's degree students in statistics were investigated and analyzed.The results show that the overall situation of the curriculum is good,but the content is more overlapping and spanning from the undergraduate courses.In terms of the scientific research atmosphere,students in different grades showed obvious differences in the scientific research atmosphere,and students in the first and second years of master's degree and those who had been employed after master's degree graduation were satisfied or very satisfied with the scientific research atmosphere.Students are more satisfied with the guidance of their instructors.Finally,from the aspects of optimizing the curriculum system and strengthening students'scientific research ability,some reference suggestions are put forward for the training needs of academic master's students in statistics.
