Objective To solve the detection of low content boron oxide(B2O3≤1.1%)in glass bottles.Methods The glass bottle was quenched and ground into fine powder,dried,decomposed by nitric acid-hydrofluoric acid wet method,leached by hydrochloric acid to prepare the solution to be tested,and boron oxide in the glass was detected by plasma emission spectrometer.Results The analysis results are consistent with the measured results of potassium hydroxide melting the solution to be tested,and the design formula is consistent,which meets the production process requirements.Conclusion A simple,rapid,accurate and precise method for the determination of boron oxide(B2O3≤1.1%)in glass bottles is established.
