Abstract
Metrology is an important engineering discipline that covers the knowledge and technologies in such aspects as measurement,standardization,calibration and quality control.Nowadays,metrology management has become critical in industrial and scientific research fields for it helps ensure the accuracy,traceability and repeatability of products and data.The objective of this paper is to explore the basic principles of metrology management and introduce the software tools widely used in this field,so as to help Metrology Engineers better manage measurement and quality control processes.
