The open chemical experiment named the external analogue of ordered structures of gall-stone was conducted in this paper based on the metal ion-deoxycholic acid reaction system.In gel,when the reaction between metal ion and deoxycholic acid is far from equilibrium,precipitation was produced which grew to form period ring and fractal structure like gallstone.The periodic rings or fractal orderly precipitation,similar to gall-stone,could be observed using the stereo microscope and scanner.The FTIR also can be used to show the themirostructures of the orderly precipitation.The formation could be understood from evolution of microstructure.The experiment which was related to inorganic chemistry,bioscience,structural characterization and analysis technique etc.involved a broad coverage of subjects,which reflected the features of China University of Mining Technology and Engineering.
