Development and Application of Information Management System in Rock Mechanics Laboratories
According to the specific characteristics of the rock mechanics laboratory of mining engineering discipline,a browser/server(B/S)-based,Client/Server(C/S)-assisted information management system(LIMS)architecture is proposed to develop a system which integrates personnel,equipment,consumables,sample processing and finance.The professional LIMS integrates information management and statistical reports,realizes the cloud-based management of laboratory personnel information and the whole process of equipment and material procurement,storage and reimbursement.The system meets professional needs,is simple to operate,and runs stably,realizes the specialization,systematization and efficiency of laboratory information management.The system significantly enhances the operational efficiency of the laboratory,streamlines management procedures,and lowers administrative costs.It effectively oversees equipment and experimental projects while standardizing experimental data,thereby provides support for scientific research.The development and implementation of the system advance the digitalization efforts within the rock mechanics laboratory,play a pivotal role in bolstering precision management practices and elevating the overall management and service standards.
