Teaching Practice and Research on Training of Mechanical Engineering with Optical Fiber Sensing
The research training program of mechanical engineering should be based on the undergraduate characteristics of mechanical engineering,and follow the intelligent manufacturing features closely.This paper takes the program"Wearable Touch Sensing Device Using Optical Fiber Bragg Grating"as an example.From the core theory,verification experiment and the innovative experiment,the paper explores the method of"One Core,Two Side Lobes".The experimental data show that the sensitivities of increasing and decreasing touch force are 5.33 pm/N and 5.44 pm/N,and the hysteresis error is 4.8%within the touch force range of 0-10 N.This method can not only strength the understanding of basic principle but also promote students'innovation-driven potential.
