Design of Simulation and Application Experiment of Transmission Line Working States by Combination of Virtuality and Reality
In response to the high cost of teaching and maintenance in traditional microwave experiments, and the disconnection between experiments and engineering,a simulation and application experiment of transmission line working states is designed.Using coaxial cable fault detection as the application background, this experiment combines transmission line theory with engineering applications, adopts the approach of introducing engineering problems, links virtual with reality, and combines software design and hardware design. This experiment starts with the working state simulating of the transmission line, and then models and analyzes the characteristics of voltage, current, impedance, and reflection coefficient under different working conditions.Students independently design solutions to complete the engineering problem of cable fault detection. The practical results indicate that the project can enable students to deepen their understanding of theory and apply it to solve practical problems better which meets the teaching requirements well.
