Exploration of Integrating Bioinformatics into the Experimental Teaching Design of Traditional Chinese Medicine Pharmacology—A Case Study of Suanzaoren Decoction
Bioinformatics is integrated into the design and practice of experimental teaching by taking suanzaoren decoction as an example,which realizes the double integrations of theoretical teaching and experimental teaching.The synergistic effect of multiple targets and pathways of bioinformatics is compatible with the"holistic concept"of traditional Chinese medicine,and the data visualization helps students to intuitively"see"and understand the mechanism and scientific connotation of traditional Chinese medicine compound.The experiment of"different disease treatment"of insomnia and Alzheimer's disease with suanzaoren decoction is divided into three teaching modules,i.e.,basic bioinformatics experiment,experiment of different disease treatment,and experiment of exploring mechanism,and systematic training is provided around the abilities of pre-study exploration,simulation experiment and teamwork,which guides students to independently design and improve the validation experiments.The experimental teaching mode is optimized through online operation,offline assessment,and course reporting to enhance students'understanding of key knowledge,application ability and innovation ability in an all-round way.
