Design of Experimental Teaching Device for Projection-based Lissajous Figures
In response to the limitations of existing Lissajous experiment demonstration devices, which confine observational perspectives to a two-dimensional plane and mostly illustrate Lissajous figures synthesized from two simple harmonic vibrations,a Lissajous projection teaching experiment device using optical projection is designed.By plotting the vibration waveforms wrapped around the outer surface of cylinders with different cross-sectional shapes,Lissajous figures with different frequency ratios and phase differences can be observed from a three-dimensional perspective. This method is characterized by its intuitive visualization,is ease for understanding, has strong interest and high expansibility, which provides a new approach to teaching with Lissajous experiment demonstration devices.
