Construction and Application of PAR Accident Causal Model in a University Laboratory
The laboratory is an important scientific and technological innovation base for gathering and cultivating excellent scientific and technological talents, and conducting high-level academic exchanges. However, there are still many laboratory safety management challenges at present. This article takes the"3-31 Explosion Accident at the Institute of Chemistry,Chinese Academy of Sciences"as an example, and uses the PAR accident causation model to conduct research on the safety management of university laboratories. With safety perception, safety analysis and safety response(PAR)as the node, the analysis is conducted at three levels:laboratory construction and management department, central laboratory, and laboratory operation subject. The study results show that the PAR model can fully leverage the role of safety information, conduct accident causation analysis from macro, meso, and micro levels, and provide effective support for improving the laboratory accident analysis system. This study provides reference for the analysis of safety information and risk prevention and control in the safety management of university laboratories, and has theoretical guidance significance for laboratory safety management.
