Dynamic Simulation Teaching of BOG Reliquefaction Process
The transportation and storage method of LNG(liquefied natural gas)is mainly through the LNG tanker.Due to the low temperature and volatile characteristics of LNG,there is a problem of heat exchange between the liquid cargo tanks and environment,boiled off gas(BOG)generated by evaporation may increase the pressure of the liquid cargo tanks and cause safety risks.In order to assist the teaching of BOG reliquefaction process in the LNG tanker project,the simulation of this process can play an important role.Therefore,a method of simulating the dynamic BOG liquefaction process using software is introduced.The reliquefaction method is supercooled LNG jet refrigeration reliquefaction.Software is used to simulate the reliquefaction process flow,establish a dynamic model,the startup and shutdown process of the process was simulated,and a set of dynamic simulation methods for the BOG reliquefaction process is formed.This paper aims to use this case as a teaching method to strengthen the application ability of software dynamic simulation for students and employees in this major and improve their mastery of virtual simulation technology.
