Exploration and Practice of Project-based Course Teaching for Freshmen Based on Tracking Intelligent Vehicles
Taking the freshman project-based course of the"UESTC Plan"as the starting point, this course focuses on the design and implementation of the"Intelligent Tracking Car Design"module. The goal is to enhance the innovative practical skills and professional identity of freshmen majoring in automation.By refining smart car competition projects, developing a self-designed smart car experimental teaching platform, establishing a progressive practical teaching system, and implementing diversified evaluation methods,we successfully advance the achievement of course objectives. At the same time,a virtuous cycle is formed through the exploration of a teaching model that integrates learning and competition.Competition supports learning, and teaching provides feedback for improvement. The practical results over the past four years have demonstrated that the curriculum construction ideas can adapt to the training requirements of future engineering talents in new engineering education. These results also hold significant reference value for the practical teaching of related majors.
