Design and Calibration of Electronic Scale Based on Electrodynamics
Based on the fundamental principles of electrical measurement and the theoretical knowledge of beam bending deformation in material mechanics, this study transforms a static strain gauge into an electronic scale through calibration and adjustment of its parameters. The experiment utilizes the beam as stress-bearing structure, strain gauges are affixed to the upper and lower surfaces. The relationship between the strain measured by the static strain gauge and the weight of the calibrated objects can be made by adjusting the sensitivity coefficient. The results indicate that the modified strain gauge can accurately measure the weight of objects, and has verified stability and repeatability in the experimental data. The innovation of the experiment lies in the integration of theoretical knowledge of material mechanics with electrical measurement techniques, which not only extends the application of electrical measurement methods in the teaching of material mechanics experiments, but also stimulates students'innovative thinking, possessing research, comprehensive and innovative characteristics.
