Construction and Practice of Cross-Disciplinary Self-Circulating Comprehensive Training Model Based on Reinforced Concrete Single-beam Experiments
In this practical training,project-based tasks are assigned which include preparation, fabrication, testing of single beams, skill expansion and performance assessment.Fourth-year students are required to apply interdisciplinary knowledge to develop project proposals, fabricate, test, and inspect concrete single beams. They are also required to be assisted teachers in guiding second-year students through the single-beam failure experiment. The training model demonstrates that it interconnects multiple professional courses, allows the application of knowledge in a cyclical manner during engineering practice. The fabricated single-beam facilitates cost-effective cycling and circulation within the profession.Students'practical skills and teamwork are exercised, providing them with firsthand experiences in engineering processes and construction environments.
