摘要
近十年来,300 kV冷冻电镜已成为生物大分子结构解析、材料形貌及成分分析的有力工具.南方科技大学冷冻电镜中心是国内拥有该类设备最多的科研实验室,而且是国内首家集中化、自动化、可视化管理的冷冻电镜中心.它的建成填补了中国南方地区无高端冷冻电镜的历史空白.结合学校冷冻电镜中心大型仪器设备的状况、开放共享管理系统及运行模式,从管理框架和开放共享等方面探讨了该中心的管理及运行机制,为粤港澳大湾区结构生物学领域发展提供了重要支撑.
Abstract
In the past decade,300 kV cryo-electron microscopy(cryo-EM)were a powerful tool for the structural analysis of biological macromolecules,material morphology,and composition analysis.The Cryo-EM Center at Southern University of Science and Technology(SUSTech)is the largest scientific research laboratory in China with such equipment,and it is also the first centralized,automated,and visually managed cryo-EM center in China.Its completion fills the historical gap of the lack of high-end cryo-EM in southern China.This article summarizes the status of large-scale instruments and equipment,open sharing management system,and operation mode of the Cryo-EM Center at SUSTech,explores the management and operation mechanism of the center from the aspects of management framework and open sharing,and introduces its important support for the development of structural biology in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
