Situation Analysis and Improvement Suggestions of Use of Safety Signage in University Chemistry Laboratories
As a carrier of safety information,the safety signage can effectively improve observers'safety attention because of its intuitiveness and easy comprehension.Correct use of safety signage in laboratories is one of effective methods of safety management,which can significantly improve the intrinsic safety level and reduce accidents in laboratories.Aiming at common problems upon irregular use and chaotic management of safety signage in chemistry laboratories of universities,proposals are put forward that the special training about regulations and national standards related to safety signs for all staff and students should be strengthened,and safety signage should be managed scientifically.Through reasonable design and correct use of lab safety information board and safety signs of all kinds in the lab,the efficiency of laboratory safety management will be improved constantly,safety culture of laboratory will be developed sustainably,experimental security defense line will be built strongly,and the safeguard will be provided for smooth operation of teaching and scientific research activities.
