Career competency is not only the key to students'successful employment,but also the foundation for their continuous growth and development in their career.As an important compulsory course for network engineering majors,"Computer Networks"requires teaching reforms to foster students'career competence.This paper integrates practical teaching experiences to introduce a comprehensive reform of the"Computer Networks"course guided by enhancing career competency.Methods include restructuring teaching content,reforming practical teaching modes,and enhancing instructional methods.These initiatives aim to effectively enhance students'engineering practical skills and their ability to analyze and solve real-world engineering problems,enabling them to competently fulfill corresponding job positions or professional responsibilities upon graduation.
