An Overview of Shanghai Jiao Tong University Laboratory Construction(from 2006 to 2020)
To improve the efficiency of laboratory construction,this paper studies the measures and effectiveness of laboratory construction in Shanghai Jiao Tong University from 2006 to 2020.Shanghai Jiao Tong University aims to build a world-class university,seizes every opportunity to strengthen the construction and management of laboratories.It improved the assessment system of laboratories and laboratory technicians,and reinforced the responsibilities and functions of laboratories through a series of measures,including institutional construction and standardized management,laboratory technicians'construction,upgrading of teaching and research instruments,opening and sharing of large-scale instruments,safety supervision and education,safety management of hazardous chemicals and special equipment,etc.After the development in 11th Five-Year Plan,12th Five-Year Plan and 13th Five-Year Plan,all kinds of laboratories at all levels,including national laboratories and demonstration centers for experimental teaching,have achieved leapfrog development,providing an important support for SJTU's"Double First Class"construction.
