Research on Creation of a Digital Twin Teaching and Research System for Coal Mine Dust Transport Experiments
In response to the drawbacks of high teaching costs, small student capacity, high trial and error risks, and low experimental efficiency in traditional dust transport experiments,a digital twin teaching and research system for coal mine dust transport experiments was created based on existing dust platforms. We used software such as 3DSMax and Unreal Engine to simulate, model, render, and communicate equipment and tunnel models. We constructed a six layer architecture, including a physical layer and a data perception layer. We designed a teaching space with practical cognition and animation demonstration functions,as well as a research space with virtual and interactive experimental models. We also relied on the campus network architecture to achieve device sharing. Finally, taking the interactive experimental mode as an example,a virtual real interaction scientific experiment of"wind speed dust concentration"was carried out to obtain dust transport effects, data reports, and transport curves under different wind speeds, thereby revealing 100μm The migration law of particle size dust under the action of wind flow verifies the intelligence, stability, and efficiency of the digital twin teaching and research system. This teaching and research system provides new ideas and methods for the intelligent reform of safety related experimental teaching.
