Efficacy of Modified Zhenwu Decoction Combined with Warm Acupuncture in the Treatment of Bradycardia with Heart Kidney Yang Deficiency Type and Its Impact on Cardiac Autonomic Nervous Function and Cardiac Function of Patients
Objective To investigate the efficacy of modified Zhenwu decoction combined with warm acupuncture in the treatment of bradycardia with heart kidney Yang deficiency type and its impact on cardiac autonomic nervous function and cardiac function of patients.Methods A total of 80 patients with bradycardia of heart kidney Yang deficiency type admitted to Second Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine from March 2022 to March 2024,and they were divided into the control group and the observation group by random number table method,with 40 patients in each group.The control group was treated with modified Zhenwu decoction,and the observation group was treated with modified Zhenwu decoction combined with warm acupuncture,and both group were treated for 4 weeks.Clinical efficacy,TCM syndrome score,heart rate variability indexes[standard deviation of normal R-R intervals(SDNN),standard deviation of five-minute average of normal R-R intervals(SDANN),root mean of square of the difference of successive R-R intervals(rMSSD),low frequency(LF),high frequency(HF),LF/HF],neuroendocrine hormone[serum renin,angiotensin Ⅱ(Ang Ⅱ),aldosterone(ALD)levels],ventricular rate and cardiac function indices[cardiac output(CO),stroke volume(SV),left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)]before treatment and after 4-week treatment,and incidence of adverse events were compared between the two groups.Results The clinical efficacy of the observation group was better than that of the control group(u=3.344,P＜0.001).After 4-week treatment,scores of palpitation,chest tightness,shortness of breath and fatigue,dizziness and tinnitus,coldness and cold limbs,and pallor in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).After 4-week treatment,SDNN,LF,and LF/HF of the observation group were bigger than those in the control group,SDANN and rMSSD of the observation group were smaller than those of the control group(P＜0.05).After 4-week treatment,serum renin,Ang Ⅱ and ALD levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).After 4-week treatment,ventricular rate,CO in the observation group were faster than those in the control group,SV and LVEF in the observation group were larger than those in the control group(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse events between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion Modified Zhenwu decoction combined with warm acupuncture has definite clinical efficacy in the treatment of bradycardia with heart kidney Yang deficiency type,which can alleviate the disease symptoms of the patients,improve cardiac autonomic function and cardiac rhythm,enhance cardiac function,and with a certain degree of safety.
