Research Progress of the Surgical Treatment of Acute Stanford Type A Aortic Dissection
The acute Stanford type A aortic dissection is a critical cardiovascular disease characterized by high mortality, complex pathology, and challenging surgical treatment. Therefore, early diagnosis and treatment are essential.Currently, surgical open surgery remains the gold standard for treating acute Stanford type A aortic dissection.Advances in surgical techniques, organ protection, and imaging technology have progressively improved patients outcomes, with new minimally invasive methods continually emerging, and endovascular surgery and hybrid techniques are gradually entering clinical practice. This article reviews the current status of surgical open surgery, endovascular surgery, and hybrid techniques for acute Stanford type A aortic dissection, discusses their applications, advantages and current challenges, and future research directions.
