Research on the Impact of Cross-border E-commerce on Green Total Factor Productivity:Based on Empirical Analysis of 271 Cities in China
Based on the panel data of 271 prefecture-level cities and above in China from 2013 to 2020,this paper uses the SBM-Malmquist index method to measure green total factor productivity,and analyzes the impact mechanism of cross-border e-commerce on green total factor productivity.The re-sults show that cross-border e-commerce will significantly improve green total factor productivity.In-dustrial structure upgrading and technological innovation have strengthened the positive impact of cross-border e-commerce on green total factor productivity.In addition,the heterogeneity test shows that compared with central and western cities and resource cities,cross-border e-commerce in eastern cities and non-resource cities plays a more significant role in promoting green total factor production,and the regulating role of industrial structure and technological innovation is also more significant.
