The development of language resource databases in China has progressed significantly.However,greater emphasis should be placed on the long-term management and preservation of language resource data.This study investigates ways to improve the level of digital curation of existing language resources by employing a foreign life cycle theoretical model-the DCC Curation Lifecycle Model.It ex-plores digital curation strategies for China's language resources based on the model's 11 key operational steps and principles:Conceptualise;Create or Receive;Appraise&Select;Ingest;Preservation Action;Store;Access,Use&Reuse;Transform;Dispose;Reappraise;and Migrate.The aim is to provide some preliminary thoughts and practical methods for studies in this field.
