Collaborative Industrial Agglomeration and Industry Chain Resilience:Influence Mechanisms and Policy Implications
With the continuous development of the industry,how to enhance the resilience of the industrial chain and strengthen the construction of the industrial chain has become a hot topic of concern in academia.This article constructs a multidimensional evaluation index system that includes the basic ability of the industrial chain,the resistance ability of the industrial chain,the control ability of the industrial chain,and the innovation ability of the industrial chain.Based on panel data from 279 prefecture level cities in China from 2004 to 2021,it empirically tests the effect and mechanism of industrial synergy agglomeration on the resilience of the industrial chain.Research has found that industrial collabora-tive agglomeration significantly enhances the resilience level of the industrial chain.Through regional investigation,it was found that industrial synergy agglomeration can enhance the resilience level of the industrial chain in the eastern and central regions,but has no significant impact on the resilience level of the industrial chain in the western region,and has a restraining effect on the resilience level of the industrial chain in the northeast region.The regulatory mechanism indi-cates that urban innovation capability will strengthen the promoting effect of industrial synergy agglomeration on the resili-ence of the industrial chain,but foreign direct investment weakens the promoting effect of industrial synergy agglomera-tion on the resilience level of the industrial chain.
