Aggregation of Data Elements,Technological Innovation and Digital New Quality Productivity
Based on panel data from 30 provinces in China from 2013 to 2022,this study empirically examines the impact of data factor agglomeration on digital new quality productivity,as well as the mechanism of technological innovation in the relationship between the two with the help of bidirectional fixed effects model and an intermediary effects model.The research results indicate that data element aggregation can effectively promote the improvement of digital new quality pro-ductivity.The results of the mediation effect test indicate that technological innovation plays a mediating role in the process of driving digital new quality productivity through data element aggregation.Heterogeneity testing found that com-pared to the group with low level of digital economy development and low degree of marketization,the promotion effect of data factor agglomeration on digital new quality productivity is more significant in the group with high level of digital econ-omy development and high degree of marketization.Therefore,policy recommendations are proposed to improve the de-velopment system of data elements,improve the mechanism of scientific and technological innovation,and formulate data element allocation plans tailored to local conditions,in order to provide the development level of digital new quality pro-ductivity.
