The Integration of Digital and Real Economy and Enterprise Green Transformation
The integration of digital economy and real economy opened up new opportunities for green and low-carbon transformation.This study examines the impact of this integration on enterprise green transformation using data from Chi-nese public enterprises and patent databases from 2008 to 2022.The results reveal that the integration of digital economy and real economy significantly driving enterprise green transformation.Mechanism analysis reveals that this integration fa-cilitates the improvement of product quality,enhances production efficiency,and stimulates technological innovations,including green technologies,thereby driving green transformation.Heterogeneity analysis demonstrates that,among inter-nal characteristics,digital product services,digital technology applications,and digital factor-driven industries,exclu-ding the digital product manufacturing industry,exhibit positive effects on green transformation,with a greater effect ob-served in high-pollution industries.Regarding the external environment,the intensity of environmental regulations,inclu-sive digital finance,and the introduction of the concept of digital-real integration increase the positive effects of the inte-gration.The research findings provide empirical evidence and policy references for China's promotion of digital-real inte-gration and exploration of novel pathways for achieving green transformation.
