Isolation and identification of secondary metabolites of epiphytic fungus Aspergillus sp.SYPUF41304 from Sargassum sp.in the Xisha islands
Objective To isolate and identifiy the secondary metabolites of the epiphytic fungus Aspergillus sp.SYPUF41304 from Sargassum sp.in the Xisha islands. Methods Silica gel column,Sephadex LH-20,medium pressure reversed phase column chromatography and semi-preparative high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)were used to separate and purify the extract from liquid fermentation of the strain Aspergillus sp.SYPUF41304.Results Ten compounds were isolated from the extract and identified as 1H-indole-3-carboxaldehyde(1),methyl indole-3-acetate(2),cyclo-(L-prolyl-L-valine)(3),brevianamide F(4),asperterreusine A(5),talaisocoumarin A(6),3-methyl-6-hydroxy-8-methoxy-3,4-dihydroisocoumarin(7),3-methoxy-6,8-dihydroxy-3-methyl-3,4-dihydroisocoumarin(8),4-hydroxykigelin(9),and de-O-methyldiaporthin(10).Conclusion The compounds could be divided into alkaloids and polyketones based on their structural type.Compounds 4-8 were isolated from the genus Aspergillus sp.for the first time. All the compounds showed no antibacterial activity at the concentration of 4 mg·mL-1.
