Isolation and detection of exosomes and its application in diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease
Objective To review the isolation and detection of exosomes and their applications in diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease. Methods We mainly searched foreign articles related to exosomes in recent five years. The main characteristics and specific requirements of exosome separation and detection technology were introduced and summarized, and the application status of exosome in the diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease was summarized. Results Different separation and detection techniques can produce different analytical and quantitative results.Exosomes of blood are expected to be applied in clinical practice as blood biomarkers for the diagnosis of AD in Alzheimer's disease. Conclusion Exosomes as biomarkers have potential biomedical value in clinical diagnosis, because of their good stability in vivo and in vitro, comparability and the advantages of the higher specificity and sensitivity.Combined with efficient separation,real-time quantitative and accurate analysis of exosomes,it is helpful to provide ideas and insights for the diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease.
