Determination of six components in Blumea balsamifera by QAMS
Objective To establish a quantitative analysis of multi-components by a single marker(QAMS)method for simultaneous determination of β-pinene,camphor,linalool,β-caryophyllene,α-Caryophyllene and borneol in Blumea balsamifera. Methods Chromatographic separation was achieved on a PEG-20M(30 m×0.32 mm,1.0 μm)column using nitrogen as carrier gas and FID as detector. The column temperature was controlled by program with the inlet and FID detector temperature were all set at 240℃.With borneol as reference, the relative correction factors of β-pinene,camphor,linalool,β-caryophyllene,and α-Caryophyllene were established.Meanwhile, the internal standard method was used to quantify contents of the six components to compare with the validated QAMS method. Results β-pinene,camphor,linalool,β-caryophyllene,α-caryophyllene and borneol showed good linear relationships within the ranges of 2.01-80.4 μg·mL-1,6.03-241.2 μg·mL-1,2.00-80.0 μg·mL-1,6.06-242.4 μg·mL-1,4.04-161.6 μg·mL-1 and 80.1-3 204 μg·mL-1.The average recoveries were 98.4% (RSD=0.6% ),99.1% (RSD=1.2% ),98.9% (RSD=1.2% ),99.0% (RSD=1.3% ),98.8% (RSD=1.5% )and 98.5% (RSD=1.1% ),respectively. There were no significant differences between the quantitative results of the QAMS and internal standard method. Conclusion The method is simple, accurate and reliable, which can be used for rapid quality control of Blumea balsamifera.
