Objective To analyze the value and accuracy of 3.0T magnetic resonance imaging in diagnosising knee meniscus peripheral dislocation. Methods A total of 78 patients with suspected meniscus peripheral dislocation of the knee admitted to our hospital from January to November 2023 were selected. All patients underwent multi-slice spiral CT and 3.0T magnetic resonance imaging. The arthroscopy results were taken as the"gold standard",and the detection rate and diagnostic efficiency of the three methods were compared. Results The positive and negative pre-dictive values of MSCT were 90%and 43%,respectively.The sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy were 74%,71%,and 73%,respectively.The positive and negative predictive values of 3.0T MRI were 95%and 71%respectively,and the sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy were 90%,82%,and 88%respectively.The positive and negative predictive values of combined examination were 98%and 94%respectively,and the sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy were 98%,94%,and 97%respectively.The diagnostic accuracy and sensitivity of 3.0T magnetic resonance imaging were higher than those of multi-slice spiral CT(P<0.05).Conclusion The value of 3.0T MRI in the diagnosis of knee meniscus peripheral dislocation is high, and the accuracy rate is higher than that of multi-slice spiral CT,but lower than that of combined examination.
