Analyze the correlation between dual gas phase matching quantitative CT and pulmonary function in patients with COPD and the value of evaluating the patient's condition
Objective To investigate the correlation between dual-gas phase-matched quantitative CT and pul-monary function in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)and the value of evaluating the patient's condition. Methods A prospective study was conducted to select 64 patients with COPD admitted to the hospital from July 2021 to July 2023 as the study subjects. The severity of COPD patients was divided into GOLD I,GOLD Ⅱ,GOLD Ⅲ and GOLD Ⅳ according to the Global Initiative for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease(GOLD)criteria. The baseline data and CT dual-phase quantitative parameters of the four groups were compared. The bivariate correlation Kendall tau-b(K)analysis was used to analyze the relationship between lung function and dual-phase quantitative CT in patients with COPD.The receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was used to test the value of dual-phase-matched quantitative CT in evaluating the severity of COPD patients. Results The gender, age and body mass index of the four groups were compared(P>0.05).The EX-856%,Emph%and fSAD%of GOLD gradeⅣ and GOLD grade Ⅲ were higher than those of GOLD grade Ⅱ and GOLD grade Ⅰ,and the Normal%was lower than that of GOLD grade Ⅱ and GOLD grade Ⅰ(P<0.05),There was no difference between GOLD grade Ⅳ and GOLD grade Ⅲ,and there was no difference between GOLD grade Ⅱ and GOLD grade Ⅰ(P>0.05).The results of bivariate correlation Kendall tau-b(K)analysis showed that the GOLD grade of COPD patients was positively correlated with EX-856%,Emph%and fSAD%(r>0,P<0.05),and negatively correlated with Normal%(r<0,P<0.05).EX-856%,Nor-mal%,Emph%and fSAD%were used as detection variables, and the severity of GOLD was used as a state variable(1=GOLD Ⅳ,Ⅲ,O=GOLD Ⅰ,Ⅱ).Drawing ROC curves shows that the AUC of EX-856%,Normal%,Eph%,and fSAD%in assessing the severity of COPD patients is greater than 0.70,and compared to individual examinations, the combined examination has a higher value(P<0.05).Conclusion The EX-856%,Emph%,fSAD%and Normal%of the two-phase-matched quantitative CT parameters are related to the lung function of COPD patients. The two-phase-matched quantitative CT parameters can effectively evaluate the severity of COPD patients.
