Objective Explore the value of echocardiography on right heart function in patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension and analyze its parameters with the New York Heart Association(NYHA)cardiac function grade. Methods A total of 120 patients with pulmonary hypertension from February 2021 to February 2022 in our hospital were selected for echocardiography diagnosis. The patients were divided into a mild group(Group A),moderate group(Group B),and Severe Group(Group C)according to pulmonary artery systolic pressure(PASP),the echocardiography parameters of different patients were compared and the correlation between Nyha Cardiac function class and the pa-rameters was analyzed. Results Peak systolic velocity(S'),tricuspid annulus systolic displacement(TAPSE),right ventricular area change fraction(RVFAC),right ventricular ejection fraction(RVEF),stroke volume(SV),endsystolic volume(RVESV),and end-diastolic volume(RVEDV)of right ventricle were compared among the three groups, there were significant differences among the groups(P<0.05).The rate of Grade Ⅲ and Grade Ⅳ in Group B was higher than that in Group A,the rate of Grade Ⅰ and Grade Ⅱ in Group A was higher than that in Group C,and the rate of Grade Ⅱ in Group B was higher than that in Group C,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Spearman correlation analysis showed that NYHY classification was negatively correlated with S'(P=0.018),TAPSE(P=0.019),RVFAC(P=0.019),RVEF(P=0.028),and positively correlated with RVEDV(P=0.020),RVESV(P=0.019),RVSV(P=0.018).Conclusion The use of echocardiography in the diagnosis of pulmonary hypertension can be used to assess right ventricular function and to guide the use of drugs in patients with pulmonary hypertension.
