Diagnostic value of left atrial strain rate combined with mitral valve Doppler parameters in the stepped diagnosis of left ventricular diastolic dysfunction
Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of left atrial two-dimensional speckle tracking strain rate combined with mitral valve Doppler parameters in step diagnosis of left ventricular diastolic dysfunction.Methods A total of 237 patients were divided into 4 groups.The left atrial two-dimensional speckle tracking strain rate parame-ters(LASRs,LASRe,LASRa)and mitral valve Doppler parameters[E/A ratio,E/e ratio,IVRT at isovolumic diastolic phase,DT at peak E slowdown,E value(cm/s)e/a ratio]were retrospectively analyzed in patients with left ventricular diastolic dysfunction.Comparison of Doppler parameters among groups A,B and C was performed by one-way analysis of variance.?Independent sample t-test was used for Doppler parameters in group C and group D.The pairwise com-parison of left atrial strain rate parameters was also performed by independent sample t-test.Results The E/A ratio,DT of peak deceleration time,IVRT of isovolumic diastolic phase,and E of mitral ring motion were significantly dif-ferent among the four groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).E/e ratio and e/a ratio were significantly different a-mong groups A,B and C(P<0.05).LASRs and LASRe were significantly different among the four groups and there was statistical significance(P<0.05).LASRa was significantly different among group A,B and C and there was statisti-cal significance(P<0.05).Conclusion Left atrial Two-dimensional speckle tracking strain rate combined with mitral valve Doppler parameters can be used in the stepped diagnosis of left ventricular diastolic dysfunction.
