Objective To analyze the application and prognostic effect of thin-slice CT and 3.0T MRI fusion technology in deep brain stimulation(DBS)surgery for patients with Parkinson's disease(PD).Methods A total of 80 patients with Parkinson's disease admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to July 2023 were selected and divided into 2 groups with 40 patients in each group by random number table method.Patients in the control group underwent simple 3.0T MRI scanning before electrical stimulation, while patients in the observation group underwent thin-slice CT and 3.0T MRI fusion scanning before electrical stimulation. The scan results of the two groups were compared. Results There was no significant difference in the implantation positions of the left electrode on X axis and the right electrode on X,Y,and Z axis(P<0.05),but there was significant difference in the implantation positions of the left electrode on Y axis and Z axis(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in Parkinson's disease comprehensive score scale(UPDRS)scores between the two groups before surgery(P>0.05).The UPDRS scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group 1 week and 6 months after surgery(P<0.05).The incidence of com-plications was 8%in the observation group and 42%in the control group. The incidence of complications in the ob-servation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of thin-slice CT and 3.0T MRI fusion technology in DBS surgery for Parkinson's disease patients can improve the accuracy of target positioning, shorten the examination time of patients, and reduce the incidence of complications.
