"Ooluguya.Ooluguya","Hugo's Vacation","Jail Dahan","The Cataract of God"and other films constitute Gu Tao's participatory observation of marginalized images.He integrates himself into the life of these marginalized people,understands the dilemma faced by the contemporary marginalized ethnic cultures and people,records the irresistible fading process after the colli-sion between the marginalized culture and the mainstream culture,and objectively presents the audience with the spiritual world of the"marginalized people",maps out the love and reverence of these marginalized groups for the forests and nature,and triggers the audi-ence's concern for the relationship between culture and culture,and between culture and people,and demonstrates his humanistic care for ethnic minorities and poetic presentation of ethnic minority cultures in his silent observation.
