《水形物语》在"人鱼之恋"的叙事模式下,展示了"同一性"哲学下被压抑的边缘群体的反抗及"爱"所爆发出的突围力量.众多形象构成了"看与被看"的权力场域.象征化的意象与现实有着紧密的指涉关系,"失声"的弱势群体与"水"相伴相随,最终撕开了权力之网的口子.影片并不满足于讲述"人鱼之恋"的故事,而是以生态女性主义的女性立场与后殖民主义的混杂性主体探索二元对立之外的新可能,因而呈现出一定的后现代主义特征.
In the narrative mode of"love between humans and mermaids",film The Shape of Water shows the resistance of the mar-ginalized groups repressed under the philosophy of"identity"and the breakthrough power of"love".Many images constitute the pow-er field of"seeing and being seen".The highly symbolized images are inseparably related to reality,and the vulnerable groups who"lose their voices"are accompanied by"water",which finally tear open the net of power.The film is not satisfied with telling a story of"mermaid love",but explores more possibilities beyond the binary opposition with the female standpoint of eco-feminism and the mixed subject of post-colonialism,thus showing certain characteristics of post-modernism.
