Survey of Status of Publication of Network Meta-analysis of Acupuncture Therapy
Objective To analyze the current status and hotspots of network meta-analysis(NMA)of acupuncture therapy,and corresponding optimization suggestions are proposed to provide references for researchers in future.Methods Data of publica-tions from inception to Feb 2022 were searched through PubMed,Web of Science,the Cochrane Library,Embase,CNKI,CBM,VIP,and Wan-Fang Database.Excel 2019 was designed the data collection form to extract and code the publication features,re-search characteristics,and keywords of the included studies,and VOSviewer 1.6.16 software was used to perform cluster analysis of authors and keywords.Results A total of 113 studies were included,with the publication volume increased significantly after 2019.73 journals published related studies.The outstanding contribution was represented by Jinhuan Zhang,Guangzhou Univer-sity of Traditional Chinese Medicine,while cooperation between different groups was poor.Hotspots keywords had mainly focused on acupuncture-related measures,disease types and clinical efficacy.Conclusion The steadily increasing number of related pub-lications,indicating its growing attention.However,the distribution of journals is scattered,and a core group of authors has yet to be formed,and research institutions are mainly concentrated in universities,lacking cross-border cooperation.Therefore,cooper-ation between research institutions in different regions should be strengthened to further deepen and expand acupuncture research and build a systematic research system.
