Epidemiological Characteristics of Pathological Data of 1304 Renal Biopsy Cases in Guangxi
Objective To analyze and summarize the epidemiological characteristics and pathologic distribution of 1304 renal biopsy cases in Guangxi. Methods The renal pathological data of patients who underwent renal biopsy in the First Affiliated Hospi-tal of Guangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from 2012 to 2021 were retrospectively analyzed, and they were divided into two groups in 5 years, group Ⅰ(2012-2016)and group Ⅱ(2017-2021),to understand the distribution characteristics and variation of pathological types in recent years. Results Among 1304 renal biopsy patients, the male to female ratio was 1.19:1.Primary glomerular disease in 1082 cases(82.98%),the common pathological types were membranous nephropathy, glomerular mild disease and IgA nephropathy, accounting for 37.80%,28.56%,18.67%of the total detection rate,respectively.Seconda-ry glomerular disease in 204 cases(15.64%),lupus nephritis was the most common, followed by purpura glomerulonephritis and diabetic nephritis, accounting for 64.22%,10.78%,10.78%of the total detection rate, respectively. Conclusions Primary glomerular disease is the most common in patients with renal puncture in this region for 10 years,of which membranous nephrop-athy is the most common pathological type of primary glomerular disease, and lupus nephritis is the most common secondary glo-merular disease.
