Treatment Progress of Axial Symptoms after Anterior Surgery for Cervical Spondylotic Myelopathy
Cervical spondylotic myelopathy is a common cervical degenerative disease in spinal surgery.Most patients have serious clinical symptoms and the effect of conservative treatment is not satisfactory.At present,surgical treatment is mainly used.Due to long-term compression of spinal cord nerve,some patients still have symptoms such as acid swelling and pain of neck and shoulder,numbness,tightness of chest and abdomen,which affect their normal work and life.In recent years,various therapies of traditional Chinese medicine have achieved satisfactory results in the treatment of postoperative spinal cord nerve function recovery,or combined with western medicine.This paper reviews the research of traditional Chinese and western medi-cine on the rehabilitation of spinal nerve function after anterior operation of cervical spondylotic myelopathy.
