Research Progress on Prevention and Treatment of Lower Limb Lymphedema after Cervical Cancer Surgery and/or Radiotherapy by Traditional Chinese Medicine
Cervical cancer is the fourth most commonly diagnosed cancer worldwide and the fourth leading cause of cancer death in women.Lower extremity lymphedema is a common and problematic complication in the treatment of cervical cancer.Due to its chronic and incurable nature,lymphedema poses problems for gynecologic oncology survivors in the form of functional and aesthetic deficits and psychological sequelae,thereby reducing their quality of life,and future clinical attention should be given to this complication and its prevention and treatment in Chinese medicine to improve the quality of life of patients.
