Clinical Observation of Acupuncture Combined with Western Medicine in Treating Premature Ovarian Failure
Objective To observe the effects of acupuncture combined with western medicine in treating premature ovarian failure(POF).Methods 63 patients with premature ovarian failure were randomly divided into treatment group(32 cases)and control group(31 cases),the treatment group was treated with acupuncture combined with western medicine,and the control group was treated with western medicine.The treatment period is 6 months.Observe the clinical efficacy of the two groups of pa-tients,detect and analyze the changes in serum follicle stimulating hormone(FSH),estradiol(E2),and luteinizing hormone(LH)levels.Results The total effective rate of the treatment group was 78.12％,and the control group was 61.29％.The differ-ence between the two groups is statistically significant(P＜0.05).Serum FSH,E2,LH in the treatment group and the control group were significantly different before and after treatment(P＜0.05).There is no statistically significant difference in LH levels between the two groups(P＞0.05),the lebels beteween FSH,E2 were significantly different(P＜0.05).Conclusion The combi-nation of acupuncture combined with medicine for the treatment of premature ovarian failure has a definite effect,which can im-prove the levels of serum hormones FSH,E2,LH.Compared with western medicine,it has the characteristics of safety and high efficiency.
