Visual Analysis on Research Hotspot and Trend of Breast Cancer in Traditional Chinese Medicine Based on Cite Space Visualization
Objective To analyze the research hotspot and trend of breast cancer treatment in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)over the past 20 years using CiteSpace 5.8 software and explore its future development direction. Methods A search of the literature on breast cancer treatment in TCM from January 2000 to April 2022 was conducted in the China Journal Network data-base(CNKI),using"breast cancer"and"TCM"as topics, and imported into NoteExpress. The search was then conducted man-ually according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria and imported into CiteSpace 5.8 software in Refworks format, which was used to visually analyze the authors, institutions, keywords and other information of the included papers. Results A total of 2207 papers were included, and the overall number of literature showed an upward trend, with 58 core authors, and the author with the most publications was LIU Sheng, with more stable cooperation within the author team, but less cooperation between teams. The research institutions were mainly in TCM universities, and the connection between institutions was relatively close, showing a cer-tain geography. The relevant keywords were mainly chemotherapy, quality of life,TCM,apoptosis, etc. There were 95 keyword clusters, and the first ten clusters covered clinical trials, experimental and mechanistic studies and drug trials, and the top 18 key-words of keyword emergence indicated that the recent research hotspots were focused on"immune function","therapeutic effica-cy"and"autophagy".Conclusion The research results related to breast cancer treatment in TCM are abundant and extensive, and the research hotspots mainly focus on the application of TCM to improve the quality of life of breast cancer patients, enhance the immune function, adjuvant chemotherapy and apoptosis mechanism. The research on cellular autophagy and immune function has been at the forefront of research in recent years, which provides a direction for future research in this field, but more high-quality research is still needed.
