Traditional Chinese medcine believes that"All 11 Zang-organs are dominated by gallbladder".The gallbladder plays an important role in the occurrence and development of diabetes,mainly about:the gallbladder masters the mental activities of the human body.The gallbladder is the key point to the reconciliation of the exercise of qi.The gallbladder produces a rising qi of Shaoyang,these three links regulate the metabolism of the human body.If the qi movement is not in order,the qi stagnation,phlegm coagulation,and blood stasis are produced,and then Xiaoke happens.Modern medicine has found that the"intestinal-liver axis"is closely related to the development of type 2 diabetes mellitus and its internal mechanism may be related to the de-struction of the intestinal mechanical barrier and the increase of permeability,the lack of chemical barrier and metabolic disor-ders,biological barrier disorders,energy disorders,and other factors.Therefore,the dialectical treatment from the"gallbladder",combined with the functional characteristics of the"intestinal-liver axis",provides a new perspective for treating type 2 diabetes mellitus.
