It summarized the research overview of acupuncture treatment of migraine from its clinical efficacy and mechanism of action.Acupuncture can alleviate the pain of migraine patients,reduce the frequency of attacks,and have no adverse reac-tions.The therapeutic effect can be achieved by adjusting the pain threshold and neurotransmitters.However,the scope of clini-cal development is insufficient,and the mechanism still needs to be explored in depth,so as to provide more solid theoretical support for acupuncture treatment of migraine in the future.
