Chronic ultraviolet radiation can cause skin photoaging,and the prevention and treatment of photoaging has become an increasingly important issue.Cell apoptosis plays an important role in the occurrence and development of photoaging.The pho-toaging of skin caused by cell apoptosis induced by ultraviolet radiation is closely related to the apoptosis of epidermal keratino-cytes and fibroblasts.Further study of the pathogenesis of skin photoaging due to apoptosis can provide important basis for preven-tion and treatment of skin photoaging,thus providing a new path for clinical treatment.In this paper,the development mechanism of apoptosis in skin photoaging is briefly reviewed.
