Effect of Acupuncture Combined with Haloperidol on Children with Multiple Convulsions
Objective To explore the clinical effect of acupuncture combined with haloperidol on children with multiple convul-sions.Methods 92 children with multiple convulsions were randomly divided into test group and control group with 46.The con-trol group was treated with haloperidol, and the test group was treated with acupuncture on this basis. Both groups were treated continuously for 4 weeks. The clinical efficacy and adverse reactions of the two groups were compared before and after treatment with the Yale Comprehensive Tetch Severity Scale(YGTSS),dopamine(DA)and serotonin(5-HT).Result After treatment,YGTSS score,DA,5-HT in the two groups were decreased(P<0.05),and those in the test group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05),after treatment, the total clinical effective rate of the test group was higher(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference between the adverse reaction groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture combined with haloperi-dol tablets can improve the clinical total effective rate, improve the clinical symptoms, reduce DA,5-HT and other neurotrans-mitters in children with multiple convulsions, and has a high therapeutic safety.
