Application of Pediatric Tuina in the Clinical Care of Children with Cerebral Hemiplegia
Objective To discuss the clinical efficacy of pediatric tuina in the clinical care of children with cerebral hemiple-gia.Methods Ninety-five children with cerebral hemiplegia in Third Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2021 to January 2023 were enrolled, and classified into observation group(n=51)and control group(n=44)according to dif-ferent nursing care methods. All children received conventional symptomatic treatment, based on this, observation group received tuina. Then the limb muscle tension,Gross Motor Function Measure(GMFM),Peabody Developmental Motor(PDMS-2)Scales and clinical effect were compared between two groups.Result The overall efficacy rate of observation group was higher than that of control group(P<0.05).The limb muscle strength increased and muscle tension decreased after treatment. The muscle strength of children in observation group was greater than that in control group(P<0.05),and the muscle tension was lower than that in control group(P<0.05).GMFM and PDMS-2 scores were increased in both groups after treatment(P<0.05),and observation group scored higher on GMFM and PDMS-2 than control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Application of pediatric tuina in the clinical care of children with cerebral hemiplegia can effectively improve the muscle strength and muscle tension of children, which is conducive to the recovery of limb motor function of children.
