Clinical Efficacy of Tongqiao Huoxue Decoction(通窍活血汤)for Cerebral Infarction
Objective To discuss the clinical efficacy of Tongqiao Huoxue Decoction(通窍活血汤)for cerebral infarction.Methods One hundred patients with cerebral infarction in First Affiliated Hospital of Nanyang Medical College from January 2021 to December 2022 were enrolled,and classified into two groups according to different treatment methods,each with 50 cases.Con-trol group received symptomatic treatment such as oxygenation,anti-infection and lipid regulation,based on this,observation group received Tongqiao Huoxue decoction.Then the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS),Fugl-Meyer Assess-ment(FMA)score,Traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score,Barthel Index(BI),serum parameters(fibrinogen,S100B pro-tein)and clinical effect were compared between two groups.Results After treatment,observation group scored lower on NIHSS score and Traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores(P＜0.05),and higher on FMA and BI scores(P＜0.05).Serum lev-els of fibrinogen and S100B protein were lower in observation group than in control group(P＜0.05).The total efficacy rate was 94.00％in observation group,which was higher than 80.00％in control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Application of Tongqiao Huoxue decoction for cerebral infarction can effectively ameliorate the neurological function,limb motor function,brain tissue blood flow status and clinical symptoms,thus improving the quality of life of patients,which is worthy of promotion.
