Professor RUAN Shiwei's Preliminary Study on"Four Principles and Six Entries"on"Jue"Mental Method
Objective The understanding of"Jue"in traditional Chinese medicine has a long history and rich connotation. However, due to the changes of its concept in the development of history,it is difficult to form a systematic and objective theoret-ical framework for"Jue".On this basis, professor RUAN Shiwei said that the connotation of"Jue"was mainly"cold limbs"and"syncope",and the pathogenesis was"disorder of Yin-Yang and Qi and blood",it is closely related to ischemic stroke and car-diogenic shock in modern medicine.Professor RUAN Shiwei advocated"four principles and six entries"in clinical treatment of"Jue".The"four principles",namely"Yin,Yang, healthy Qi and evils",is to distinguish the true and false of"Jue"from"Yin and Yang",and to evaluate the overall development trend of"healthy Qi and evils"."Six entries",namely"pathogenesis,loca-tion,condition,constitution,seasons,symptoms and signs",is based on the"four principles"to guide the treatment of"Jue"from"pathogenesis, location, condition, constitution, seasons, symptoms and signs".It is hoping to develop the field of traditional Chi-nese medicine"Jue"and help to build the traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis and treatment system of"Jue"and provide ref-erence value.
